"Kahless". Everywhere you go in the Empire, you hear "Kahless". Every time Klingons get together, it's "Kahless this, Kahless that". So what is the big deal with Kahless?
Okay, so he overthrew Molor the Tyrant. So who says he was such a tyrant? History always paints the vanquished in a bad light; maybe Molor was merely misunderstood.
Okay, so he united the Klingon people and founded the Klingon Empire. If there wasn't a Klingon Empire before Kahless, what was Molor ruling over, Pottsylvania?
Okay, so he battled Morath for twelve days and twelve nights. Who doesn't fight with their brother now and then? And was Morath really guilty of lying? After Kahless defeated him, he didn't have much chance to defend himself, now did he?
These are the questions that run through my mind when I hear pious Klingons going on and on about Kahless, and I wonder:
Is this why they invited me to leave the monastery at Boreth?
